Mercury Marine released a new “Boating Made Easy” video to give viewers insight into the company’s joystick piloting system.

Rich Ritzema, of the Sail and Ski Center in Austin, Texas, said he has noticed a transformation during the last few years in which families — especially children — can get started sooner and create memorable experiences on the water at a young age.

"The technology that is available from Mercury Marine is making boating easy and enjoyable for a family," Ritzema said in a statement. "Many years ago, the man of the house would drive the boat. Technologies today allow everyone to be comfortable to navigate the waterway."
