Webasto names first Master Technical Distributor

Air-conditioning and heating systems manufacturer Webasto has named Gillett Marine of San Diego as its first Master Technical Distributor.

Master Technical Distributors serve dealers in their territories and stock the entire Webasto product line. The provide technical assistance in system integration, diagnosis, repair and warranty administration. Gillett Marine’s territory includes the Southwestern US, Hawaii and Mexico.

“We’re pleased to partner with Gillett Marine as our first Master Technical Distributor,” David Wollard, senior director of leisure markets at Webasto in the America’s region, said in a statement. “They’ve built a reputation for technological acumen and have successfully undertaken major refits worldwide. They’ll make a great addition to the Webasto team.”

Gillett Marine has specialized in air conditioning and refrigeration systems for yachts and sportfishing boats.
