Electronics manufacturer Standard Horizon named Win-tron Electronics of Spring Lake Heights, N.J., its 2009 Marine Distributor of the Year.

The award is presented to the distributor that shows outstanding support and promotion of the Standard Horizon brand throughout the year.

"With the industry's most knowledgeable sales staff, it is always a pleasure when just stopping by or meeting with them to introduce new products," said Rich Lauer, Northeast regional sales manager for Standard Horizon, in a press release.

"Standard Horizon has continued to offer, year-in and year-out, a wide range of high-quality and affordable marine communications and navigation [equipment]," said Edward A. Winder, president of Win-tron, in an e-mail to Soundings Trade Only. "We have been proud supporters of the brand, and the dealers we distribute to love the consistency in their quality."

Win-tron, a factory authorized distributor, has served the wholesale electronics industry since 1963.
