The VesselVanguard app provides real-time info on multiple vessels.

VesselVanguard has been retained by Lauderdale Marine Services of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and by Propwash LLC of Clearwater, Fla., to facilitate services they provide to yacht owners.

A cloud-based fleet management system, VesselVanguard offers automated lifecycle management task notifications, user set-up and management controls and warranty management reporting. Its fleet management dashboard provides vessel readiness status and can look ahead at short-term maintenance requirements. It keeps historic boat profiles and provides 24/7/365 access to records for each vessel.

“We use VesselVanguard to keep us informed of the routine service requirements of our clients’ yachts, and our clients like that they can see at a glance what is needed without getting involved in the details,” John Anderson of Lauderdale Marine Services said in a statement.

Added Michael Atwell of Propwash LLC: “We use VesselVanguard to stay informed so we can pre-empt our customers’ questions. Our clients can easily see what equipment-manufacturers are recommending before we schedule tasks for completion and we can plan our entire business day using the solution.”

When “the unexpected happens,” Atwell added, “the mobile app can record those events in real-time with pictures or videos, and save everything to the digital ship’s log — aiding in efficient maintenance planning when back at the dock.”
