Yamaha announces production schedules at Japan plants

Yamaha Motor Co.'s Fukuroi outboard motors plant will be open Thursday for assembling partially completed units from stocked supplies, but will be closed Friday, the company announced today.

The same schedule applies to the company's Kumamoto plant, which also makes outboards.

The Kuramatsu plant for PWCs will be open Thursday and Friday for assembling partially completed units from stocked parts supplies.

Yamaha said plans for next week and beyond will be announced by Friday.
