The Yamaha Marine Group announced a retail promotion Tuesday that applies to eligible select 2.5-hp to 350-hp four-stroke outboards and runs through March 31.

The promotion allows consumer either five years of warranty protection — three years of Yamaha limited warranty coverage, along with a two-year Yamaha extended service, or Y.E.S. plan — or a credit, on select eligible models, of as much as $2,000 based on the manufacturer’s suggested retail price toward the purchase of goods and/or services available at the authorized participating Yamaha outboard dealer that sold the outboard at no extra cost.

“ ‘The Proven Reliability Sales Event’ is just in time for the busy boat show season,” Yamaha Marine Group division marketing manager Dale Barnes said in a statement.
