Yamaha is introducing an "After Christmas Summer Blowout" sales promotion for new and used boats and PWC.

For Yamaha WaveRunners, the promotion features no money down, payments as low as $69 per month, at 7.99 percent for 24 months on all 2009 and prior-year new and unused models. Customers also get five years of Yamaha Genuine Coverage free with the purchase of select new WaveRunners, or up to $1,000 or more in other savings.

For Yamaha boats, the promotion includes no money down and 8.99 percent interest for the life of the loan on all new and unused 2009 and prior-year Yamaha boats. Customers also get five years of Yamaha Genuine Coverage, free on all new and unused boats or up to $5,000 or more in savings.

Yamaha is also offering the optional YP3 program for WaveRunner customers who make purchases with HSBC on their Yamaha card. The program helps customers protect their purchase by cancelling 3 percent of their monthly account balance, up to $300 per month for as long as six months, if they should involuntarily lose their job because of the economic downturn.

"This is clearly one of the most aggressive promotions we've ever offered," said Bryan Seti, national marketing manager for Yamaha WaterCraft Group, in a statement.
