Yamaha Marine Group is extending its "Invest in the Best" retail promotion for another four weeks.

The program gives customers two options. The first is a credit of up to $1,500 based on eligible outboard horsepower. The credit can be used toward the purchase of goods and/or services from the authorized dealer who sold the outboard.

The second option is a two-year Yamaha extended service contract with the purchase of new 2.5- to 350-hp 4-strokes, all HDPI models and 8- to 150-hp carbureted 2-strokes (manufactured since April 2005).

All eligible outboards must be sold, predelivery inspection completed, delivered and warranty registered by the dealer on the Yamaha Marine Business System by July 28. The program originally was scheduled to end June 30.
