Yamaha announced today that it suspended production of outboard motors and PWC at its plants in Japan through the end of next week.

Operating plans for April 4 and beyond will be announced by April 1, the company said on its website.

Suzuki announced on its website that its outboard engine plant would be up and running Monday, but production was suspended for Tuesday.
