Yamaha launches summer incentive program

Yamaha Marine Group announced a new retail promotion designed to give customers an extra incentive to purchase this summer.

"Today, customers expect a maximum return on their investments, and this new promotion delivers just that," said Dale Barnes, Yamaha Marine Group marketing division manager, in a statement. "The 'Invest in the Best' program gives customers two options for adding value to their Yamaha outboards."

The first option is a credit, based on MSRP of up to $1,500 to the customer based on eligible outboard horsepower. The credit is available, at no extra cost to the customer, and can be used toward the purchase of valuable goods and/or services from the authorized participating Yamaha dealer that sold the outboard.

The second option offers customers a two-year Yamaha extended service contract with the purchase of an eligible new Yamaha outboard. Eligible models for both options include new 2.5- to 350-hp 4-strokes, all HDPI models and 8- to 150-hp carbureted 2-strokes (manufactured since April 2005).

All eligible outboards must be sold, pre-delivery inspection completed, delivered and warranty registered by the dealer on Yamaha Marine Business System through June 30.
