Yamaha rolls out new outboard promotion

Yamaha Marine Group announced a promotion that offers consumers two avenues for saving on eligible Yamaha outboards during the first quarter of 2015.

“The ‘Reliability Starts Here Sales Event’ offers customers exceptional value with the purchase of a new select Yamaha outboard,” Yamaha Marine Group marketing division manager Dale Barnes said in a statement. “This promotion is a great way to kick off the busy 2015 boat show season.”

The promotion applies to eligible new Yamaha 2.5- to 350-hp four-stroke outboards.

It provides the consumer a choice of either five years of warranty protection (three years of Yamaha limited warranty coverage, along with an additional two-year Yamaha extended service, or Y.E.S. plan) or a credit on eligible models of as much as $2,000, based on MSRP, toward the purchase of goods and/or services available at the authorized participating Yamaha outboard dealer that sold the engine.

The promotion is for new outboards purchased and warranty-registered through March 31.
