Yamaha Motor Co. today announced its updated operating plans for May in Japan.

The company said its outboard motors and personal watercraft plants will operate May 9 and beyond. Operational levels will depend on supply conditions for parts, according to Yamaha.

The factories will be closed during the "golden week" holidays, which run April 29 through May 8.

Operations for June and beyond will be decided by late May.
