Yamaha Marine Group said today that it will sponsor three educational workshops within the service track at this year’s Marine Dealer Conference & Expo, which takes place Nov. 16-19 at the Orange County Expo Center in Orlando, Fla.
Yamaha Marine University instructor and marine dealership consultant Valerie Ziebron will teach three service-track workshops at this year’s event.
The “Build a Service Dream Team” segment will explore the key human resource elements needed to create an outstanding service team.
“Turn Upset Customers into Loyal Ones” will examine the positive conflict-resolution techniques needed to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty; “Lessons Learned from the Master Service Advisor” will analyze the mindset, tools and habits that allow master service advisors to excel.
"This is looking to be the best MDCE yet, with record attendance and participation,” Ziebron said in a statement. “My three workshops are jam-packed with best-practice golden nuggets that have helped dealerships of all sizes improve their service departments. I am particularly excited to have master service advisor Dan Fujiwara as a guest. His decades of experience and incredible expertise will be a huge benefit for workshop attendees.”
The MDCE, which is produced by Boating Industry magazine and the Marine Retailers Association of the Americas, features seminars in three educational tracks, including service, management and leadership, and sales and marketing. It also features keynote speakers, an awards luncheon and networking receptions.
