Yanmar America names Georgia training center manager

Yanmar America said Tim Miller was named senior manager for the company’s new Training and Customer Experience Center under construction in Acworth, Ga.

The company said Miller has more than 24 years of experience in learning development, training and equipment in the agriculture, mining and construction industries.

Yanmar said Miller will be responsible for the direction and delivery of innovative, solutions-driven learning across all business units and aspects of the company. He also will be in charge of ensuring an excellent customer experience for all visitors to the new center.

“Yanmar America’s new training facility will allow us to offer proper training for all aspects of our business, while also providing premium customer experiences through partnerships with the local communities and industry partners. Tim’s vast experience and industry knowledge will only serve to enhance our efforts. We are extremely fortunate to have him leading this new venture,” Yamar America president Tim Fernandez said in a statement.

Before he joined Yanmar, Miller was most recently senior manager of dealer development training and Kubota University for Kubota Tractor Corp.
