ZF Marine consolidates U.S. service operations

ZF Marine LLC, the North American subsidiary of ZF Marine Group in Italy, announced some changes to its East Coast service network.

ZF Marine will now schedule all field service activities out of its South Florida service center in Miramar, Fla.

With the global acquisition in August of HRP Thrusters, ZF Marine will consolidate its Warwick, R.I., Annapolis, Md., and Jarrett Bay, N.C. service activities to ZF HRP North America's soon-to-be-opened location in Chichester, Pa.

Field-service support activities remaining in these areas will now be coordinated via Miramar.

"Providing timely service to our customers is of the utmost importance to ZF Marine LLC." said Tim McFarland, aftermarket segment manager for ZF Marine, in a statement

"The service support to our valued customers on the Eastern seaboard will remain second to none. We have retained key field service personnel that will continue to support the existing areas that they have in the past," he added. "This centralization of service coordination will allow ZF Marine to better utilize its service personnel in the field."
