Boating at night can be dangerous, even around the marina. Aqualuma's Dock/Marina Light is a high-output underwater LED unit intended to illuminate the waters around docks, pilings, seawalls and jetties.

A high-tech polymer housing protects the light's six LEDs. The light draws less than 1.3 amps at 12V DC, and with no bonding required or metal under the water, corrosion is avoided, according to the company. The product comes with 16.2 feet of tinned cable, a fiberglass mounting post, an injection-molded reinforced bracket, and stainless-steel mounting pins. It measures 9.6 by 2 by 2.8 inches and is available in blue, green and white.

The company backs the product with a two-year warranty. Price is $777.18. Piggyback units are $642.18. The U.S. importer is Fluid Technologies, (904) 384-9659. www.aqualuma.com
