They run cool and have a total current draw of less than 2 watts, says Hella customer service rep Kevin Watkiss. Ideal for a variety of interior and exterior applications, the lights can be used for direct and indirect illumination, and can be dimmed via Hella's 2 Group Light Dimmer. Available in 12- or 24-volt DC versions, the maintenance-free lamps are shock- and vibration-resistant, and are prewired with 8.2 feet of marine cable. The lamps measure 10.4 by 1.3 by 1 inch and can be surface- or recess-mounted. MSRP: $62.99. Contact: Hella Marine, (770) 631-7500. www.hellamarine.com
