Inca Molded Products has joined with Centro to create a rotomolded fuel tank for OEM and aftermarket applications, according to president Robert Porter.

Using Centro's RotoLoPerm multilayer cross-link polyethylene technology (patent pending), Inca will manufacture the tanks in sizes from 1 to 200 gallons beginning in 2011 for model-year 2012 boats, says Porter. The new tanks will have "ultra-low" permeation levels below mandatory federal and California environmental regulatory levels that take effect in 2012, he says. "Of all the solutions we have tried, tested and evaluated, RotoLoPerm is by far the superior solution for rotationally molded fuel tanks," says Porter. Prices were unavailable at press time.
