Made by Precision Propeller Industries, the Turbo line consists of more than 200 props. (Yamaha purchased PPI in 2008). "What we are trying to do here is offer an engineering solution at the factory by working with the boatbuilder," says Martin Peters, manager of communications and dealer education. With its Guardian SQ-LOK Hub design, Turbo props can fit multiple outboard brands, the company says. Boatbuilders should contact their Yamaha OEM regional sales manager about ordering and their Yamaha OEM application engineer to schedule testing. Contact: PPI, (800) 922-9955. www.turbo-props.com
